BIG SHOUT OUT TO THIS SUB

Almost everything I’ve learned about BTC came from this group. Wether it was pointing me to the right books, staying up to date on wallets and security, or philosophical and political ways of thinking this sub provided the basis and then ongoing support for what I needed to have confidence in owning something with life and world changing potential. Over the past year I received payments from a legal settlement and started buying bitcoin with part of it and the rest in CD’s and high yield savings. As I watched inflation kick the interest on those accounts in the teeth I eventually moved everything into BTC. I’m sure even a lot on this sub will say that’s stupid, and yeah it’s risky. However, if I can help solidify at least one mechanism for a better future than what the current system is setup for I can live with whatever happens. As you know I’m more likely to retire early and spend that time traveling the world with my love than lose everything overnight. The new ATH happens to coincide with reaching 100% return. So now I will start DCA’ing out my entire initial investment to put into tradfi (including some BTC ETFs) eventually leaving nothing but profits exposed as BTC. I no longer risk losing everything and my risk exposure will get lower every week that it is higher than 65K. Regardlessly as we head into what feels like the next chapter a big shout out to the community and everyone who contributed to my education. Even those with the stupid questions. I thank you!

Speaking of stupid reminds me of another sub that I owe gratitude to. I realized the other day they were almost as instrumental in forming and strengthening my belief in BTC. As a contrast to all the well thought out and articulated ideas and arguments here the almost entire replacement of facts with childish vitriol and the way the same 3 unfounded and unfunny jokes were more repetitive than shitty house music (not that there isn’t good house) did a lot more to support what I saw here than anything else. Their weak ass attacks made it that much more believable. So to those of you from the sub named by a 3rd grader that I know are lurking here right now, THANK YOU for making me free!
