Ok guys... What is in the air? It was a three day weekend in Japan and I went out three nights in a row (paying for it now sweating in bath tub checking my portfolio with one eye closed). So I was at Marunouchi plaza on Friday night and a group of tourists from various European countries were all showing each other their crypto holdings and discussing what's going on. Of course the moon jump was nice and the ruling on BTC recently is exciting, but this is the first time in quite a while I heard random people going on about crypto... Then, the following day I'm in Ikebukuro getting hot pot at a Chinese restaurant. All of my Chinese friends start going on about BTC. They talked all night and I could really make out the details cause I do y speak Mandarin well enough, but our hotpot night turned into crypto curcle jerk?!? Two days in a row? Finally, last night I go out to Shimokitazawa (,nice place btw) and grab some pizza and beer with coworkers... Again, a table of North Americans discussing in classic super loud voice the Moon shot recently ( I know your here btw). So that's three days in a row with random 20-30 something from Europe, China, and North America with crypto on their minds. It is interesting to not be Japanese have very little interest still. Haha. All of my Japanese contemporaries are staying away because it's too risky. It might be because the name in Japanese for crypto is literally 仮想通貨 or imaginary money. We need a better namong convention out here.
So what's going on? Are we in the eye of the storm and are we about to breach the wall again? What is the atmosphere like in other parts of the world?
