Can crypto be something 'grandma' can ever get?

A lot of people say that when crypto is simple enough with a magical super slick UI, then people will hop on board.

Like some killer app that is so good people just use it. Or just so simple that grandma can use it. One nice big red button that you just press and it happenes.

But , honestly, when we're talking about taking self custody of your finances , it can never be that easy, by design.

You can't have total control over something scary like potentially lots of money, and somehtjng that is that effortless.

As it is, even with banks and all their BS, old people and suckers are always getting scammed, even when banks warm them, they still go ahead and send out money to a random person that has cold called them. Then the bank has to pay for them being a risk to themselves.

To clarify, I'm not saying that UI doesn't matter , I'm saying that there will always be a level of people so incapable of following basic security protocols that crypto will be trouble for them.

Even people in crypto and Difi leave their stuff on exchanges and , despite the abundant lessons, tons of people getting wrecked by exchanges going under.
