I'm a Python developer, and I like to understand how things work. So I found the command line interface of bitcoinlib to be better suitable for me than a UI app like Electrum or Sparrow.
Two questions: 1) Is bitcoinlib trustworthy? 2) What's a good resource to understand how Bitcoin works technically without being overkill? Like, I don't want to become a Bitcoin developer, I just want to be able to see through the magic layer of it in order to be able to use it properly and safely.
Many thanks
