I have a daily DCA set up, but this dip made me bulk sum a chunk of USD into BTC. Mind you I’m a long time holder, entered when BTC was ~600$. Never thought I’d buy more BTC after it hit 5+ digits, but the institutional interest, global adoption rate...

Why are whale holdings 1.25%?

CoinMarketCap have “Whale holdings” at 1.25%. Anyone able to explain how to calculate that %? It can’t be % of addresses, since there are several hundred million, whether you consider only non-empty or not. Also, it cannot be % of Bitcoin held...
