6 years ago from today, the JP Morgan CEO said that Bitcoin is only used by "drug dealers and murderers" and he still does not believe in Crypto, yet we got mainstream adoption without him. We don‘t need institutions.

Talk about a better duo than Bitcoin and some rich finance CEOs or media news outlets calling it "dead" literally 24/7? You can't, there have been articles in the very first years about Crypto there were already calling it dead and even many big finance CEOs that were straight out calling it a fraud or scam.

This is something that has changed over the years, while we even had news articles calling Crypto dead at the very $69k top in 2021, but there has indeed already been massive Crypto adoption by some of the biggest Wall Street, traditional finance faces. The biggest and most recent being the BlackRock CEO Larry Fink.

The JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon said exactly six years ago from today, on the 13th September, that Bitcoin would only be used by "drug dealers, murderers and North Korea", obviously the very basic argument that only illegal activities are done on Crypto, while they don't look in their own fiat backyard where most of the worldwide money laundering is happening.

And even today JP Morgan has not really changed their stance. The only development has been that they are ready to adopt the blockchain, likely for their own Crypto that will be akin to a CBDC to just scam people even more. I would say to just let those people do, only they will be missing out while we are already on the train.
