Back in 2011, I took my large coin jar to a coinstar machine in the grocery store next to my place. In total I got around 900$ from the change that I accumulated in the previous several years. With that money I got a nice gaming rig. Since I had the GPU ( AMD Radeon HD 7850 ) and people I knew were mining, I started investigating and finally started mining for a bit. After a while I realised that I had spent more in electricity than the actual value I got out of it , the PC was making too much noise so I just stopped.
Fast forward... Yesterday, my NAS server is running out of space. Being somewhat of a hoarder, I rummage through my boxes of old tangled wired and random PC stuff. I find a 250GB drive. Ohhh , that will allow me to move a few things around on the server... I hook it up to format .
sudo fdisk /dev/sdf ...
But wait... curious, is there anything on that disk?
