While the market was still reeling from the collapse of Terra Luna and Celsius - FTX imploded and shook the entire Crypto Market, bringing with it all new bear market lows for crypto.

Since than, Banks started failing and the US Governement is on the cusp of pushing the US into a two pronged economic Recession. The extended economic forecast remains bleak but a lot more users now think the worst is behind us for crypto markets.

Analyzing the Results

As you can see by raw votes there are significantly more people who think worst is behind us (62.8%) compared to Nov. 2022 (51.9%)

• Although an almost identical percent of voters think the bottom is in and it's time to accumulate: 32.3%, and 32.2%.

The difference is mainly accounted for by an increase in users who think the crypto market is more likely to crab without hitting a new bear market bottom. Up from 19.6% to 29.6%.

Analyzing the Results

As you can see by Moon Weighted results there was significantly more people who thought the worst is behind us (83.6%) compared to Nov. 2022 (66.8%)

• Interestingly in Moon Weighted results, Crab actually dropped from 30.1% to 27.1% even though it increased by 51% in total vote weight.

The amount of people who thought the worst was still ahead dropped by over half from 33.2% to 16.4% by Moon weight.

Summary:

Over the last year ten months the amount of users who think the worst is still ahead for Crypto dropped significantly, by sheer votes the drop was around 20%, by Moon weight the drop was over 50%

Interestingly the remaining results were split based off metric used to measure.

• By vote numbers almost an identical amount of people thought the bottom was in (from 32.3% to 32.2%)
  • By Moon Weight this number increased by over 53% (from 36.8% to 56.5%)
• By vote numbers the amount of people who thought the market would crab increased 51% (from 19.6% to 29.6%)
  • By Moon Weight this number decreased by 10% (from 30.1% to 27.1%)

Please note there is unintentional ambiguity - as both [The Bottom Is In and Crab] technically say the worst is behind us.

(Voting for Crab is likely more bearish short term and voting the bottom is in is likely more bullish short term.)

If the Moon results will be more reliable than sheer votes is up for debate - one might think people who have a lot of Moons are more aware of the crypto markets, however these Moons got it terribly wrong in Nov. 2022 when they overwhelming thought the worst was behind us.

Regardless both Moons and total votes now think the worst of this bear market is behind us.
