Hello everyone! In the last year, a lot of layer 2 are taking the scene, making use of Ethereum's security to provide fast and cheap transactions. Roll ups technology is developing fast and Vitalik Buterin himself said that is the right way to explore. Arbitrum and Optimism are skyrocketing in terms of TVL and have already surpassed many layer 1.
So I started to wonder: what's the future of chains like Solana, Algorand, Avalanche, Cardano? They were all considered "Ethereum killers" at a certain point, with the idea the Ethereum was never going to become scalable. Nowadays though, it seems that Ethereum actually found a way to do so, and there may not be place for alternative layer 1 anymore. I'm not considering the token prices here, I'm just speaking about actual daily usage of the chains.
Are you currently using protocols on those chains? What do you think the future will bring for them?
