Big institutions entering crypto can't control it, because it's too big already and the actual whales are early investors.

I understand the doubts around big companies entering crypto. But I think you're more like "disgusted" by it, than actually endangered. Many don't realize how big crypto already is. Even if a single corporation wanted to buy one percent of current BTC suply it would cause the chart to go tremendously high while doing so, which would next cause the total cost to be much, much bigger than they had estimated.

And that already includes OTC trading. OTC is not some magical bag of coins, you need to get these coins from somewhere, buy it from somebody. When trading relatively big amounts it helps to avoid short term volatility and that's about it. It won't be much of help when you trade one percent of coins. It would just cause the chart to continuously grow instead of in spikes. This brings us to the next topic. The actual whales in crypto are mostly anonymous early investors who hold like fanatics, most likely some of them are already dead and their coins unrecoverable. But corporations, while investing in crypto, can't price in the unknown, they must assume that early investors have access to their coins and can sell it anytime, and take business decisions accordingly to this risk. So they will hesitate to just invest a lot and then get rugged.

They have to invest continuously, kinda DCA, constantly judging the risk. That's good for us. Because they can't go big instantly. It would cause the cost to be too high and the investment wouldn't be so good. Right now, there is no single entity who could just take control of crypto in a day. There's too many competing forces. Early investors are one of those holding strong and corporations, compering are not that big to them.
