Bitcoin makes me feel safer towards the future.

Isn't that the goal, after all? If we don't believe tomorrow will be somehow better than today, then what's the point of all effort? If the ideia of our sons and grandsons having a better life than we did disappear, what's left?

Truth is: nowadays it's hard of having that hope. People are more atomized, institutions and world leaders are clearly not here for the average Joe. Our medium of exchange is broken, because it penalizes savers and rewards debt and risk takers. This makes the future more uncertain and with a high feeling of uncertain future, society starts to crumble. They broke the money in 71, when Nixon ended the gold standard and started the era of the "brrr" fiat money. This distorted the notion of scarcity, and enabled bad investments to thrive and central planners to grow big.

Nowadays, the uncertainty of our future is immense. It's hard to believe in anything, inflation is hitting as a motherfucker and no one quite knows where to turn.

Bitcoin enters the chat, simply by reminding us the power of scarcity that don't change over time. We need to rely on something that doesn't change according to A or B or to whom is in power. Interest rates in 1y anyone guess it? What about M1 supply? Banks going under? Mass surveillance? Just heard about robot police dogs in NYPD.

In this times where everybody seems so confused, lost, alone, tired, it's to good to have a promise of something better. Bitcoin is that promise. Definitely not the answer to all questions, but it's something to begin with. Maybe the first major stone of a better world, where technology meets sound money, and thus paving the way for better relations between people and nations, away from this centralized greed, of this central banks that operate in the misery industry.

Bitcoin will not solve all my problems, but at least it gives me a sense of a righ direction. And that's all I ask for, right now.
