The reason I made this post is because even though people have been screaming about this for years, most people still aren't even aware. The second point I wanted to make was just a thought I had. Does anybody remember the conversion of all debit cards to chips and then eventually to contactless?

Every time a drastic change was made with money/financial transactions, it always followed the same path. Jokes, skepticism, awkwardness, initial use, acceptance and eventual amnesia of the old ways. Originally cash, to debit cards, to chips, to now contactless. Many of us don't even use our cards, we just apple pay everything (which is technically still our card but yeah).
