A friend of mine allegedly received around 55k Bitcoin on his Coinbase wallet from a dubious Telegram group, claiming it originated from the 500 euros he deposited.
He believed it to be genuine, but he can't transfer the Bitcoins to his Coinbase account for withdrawal. The transaction history also doesn't show the address from which the Bitcoins were "sent." Still, I wonder how the scam works to display 1.7 Bitcoin worth approximately 55k to him.
