Crypto.com app delisting USDT January 31st

Original email from CDC:

This email is to inform you that Tether (USDT) will no longer be supported in the Crypto.‌com App. On January 31, 2023 at 01:00 EST, USDT will be delisted and all USDT transactions will be suspended. Please take urgent action to review your USDT balance and take any necessary action (e.g. withdrawal or conversion) before the effective date.

The following services will be impacted by this delisting:

Trading and Deposits/Withdrawals Trading and deposits/withdrawals of USDT will be suspended in the Crypto.‌com App from January 31, 2023 at 01:00 EST onwards. All remaining USDT balances will be automatically converted to USDC. All USDT deposited into your Crypto Wallet after this date will not be credited.

You may incur a retrieval fee if deposits of USDT are made from external wallets after this suspension period and fund retrieval may not be possible in some cases.

Recurring Buys All Recurring Buys using USDT after January 31, 2023 at 01:00 EST will be automatically terminated.

Crypto Earn USDT will not be available in Crypto Earn after January 31, 2023 at 01:00 EST, and both fixed and flexible USDT programs in Crypto Earn will be terminated. Any remaining USDT allocation in Crypto Earn will be returned to your Crypto Wallet and automatically converted to USDC. Users will not be able to allocate USDT in earn programs from January 16, 2023 at 01:00 EST onwards.

Spending Power USDT will no longer be available for Spending Power after January 31, 2023 at 01:00 EST, and your USDT balance will be automatically converted to USDC. Liquidation will be paused during the conversion. Spending Limit adjustments may take place after the conversion, depending on the market prices of your collateral mix.

Card Top-up USDT will no longer be available for Card Top-ups after January 31, 2023 at 01:00 EST. USDT as an auto top-up method will also be disabled.

Pay If you’ve selected USDT as the payment refund currency to resolve any merchant payment refunds, your refund currency will be changed to CRO after January 31, 2023 at 01:00 EST. If you prefer to receive refunds in another currency, please go to "Settings" > "Refund Currency" to choose another currency.

Please note that all conversions from USDT to USDC shall be reasonably determined by Crypto‌.com with reference to real-time market rates at the time of conversion.
