Cryptocurrency trading and investing has been boring:

With more than thousands and thousands of crypto currencies, crypto has continued to remain boring unless your extremely wealthy and can make quite a bit of money off small moves.

The name of the game for many people is to hodl (hold on for dear life). While this is a form of investing it is also a form of gambling. Especially if you don't know if the company has a use case for your favorite crypto(s) of choice. Meme coins however have an attraction. Holders of meme coins hold in hopes they will rally for no reason other than to make a quick buck. While it is possible, meme coins can be highly volatile, meaning quick price fluctuatations can happen due to profit taking by those who pump the coins and those who trade it. Don't get me wrong, these coins can be exciting to trade but can be dangerous.

For most serious investors, these investors will take into consideration market cap, fully diluted market cap , circulating supply, what block chain is it on, does it have a worthy use case (projects and such) and how does it rank overall. These investors keep up with the news, technical analysis and they also know when the Bitcoin halving will happen as well as what happens when it does occur. Simply, Bitcoin halving happens every 4 years, in which the reward for mining Bitcoin transactions is cut in half. This helps make Bitcoin scarce, inflation resistant resource similar to Gold. Creating demand.

I digress. Why is crypto so boring?, Well it's the lack of price movement. Being a 24/7 market it's difficult to know when the best time to trade would be. You got to keep up with the news and other investors such as whale investors (People or groups with a lot of money.) The stock market direction can also help.
