Ethereum 2.0 release date

I’ve seen a lot of posts saying that Ethereum 2.0 is now expected to launch fully around the end of 2022, if this is true do you think it will have a significant negative impact on Ethereum’s growth and potentially it’s place as the number 2 crypto or do you think EIP 1559 will be enough of a catalyst to keep Ethereum on an upwards trend? IMO I think the news of the release date being pushed back has damaged peoples views on Ethereum but not enough to cause people to sell/cause a significant dip in price.

After reading the comment below I don’t believe that Ethereum 2.0 as a whole is coming in 2022 however some of its parts will come at the start of 2022.
