First time exchanging crypto to fiat and confused as to why usd is not an option

I just did a test run to see if I could transfer from my MetaMask account to binance and successfully did it since I am wanting to exchange a larger sum into fiat, but it’s saying my account is under assurance review (I completed the second level verification a few weeks ago), and it also isn’t listing USD or JPY (I’m based in Japan) so slightly confused. Is it because I sent a super small amount in my test run? Is this normal? I had wanted to exchange as soon as I could but it seems I may have to wait another week for the assurance review…
