Exchanges fail. Your coins are not insured. Spend some time learning about cold storage. Get a storage device directly from the maker of the device (ledger...cold card..tezor....and others). Stop depending on someone you don't know who is not beholden to anything to keep your stuff safe. Exchanges can cut off your access, lose or steal your coin.
