Have you been part of a project that is currently dead?

As we are in the midst of a bear market and a lot of altcoins are about to hit new all time lows, I have a question: have you invested in projects that are now dead, and if so, when did you realise that the project is already dead?

Was it a massive rugpull, bad marketing, 0 social interaction or did all channels of communication just get deleted?

From personal experience I can share the story I had with MIMIR - a P2E trivia game that got launched near the top of the previous bullrun in Q4 2021 on Polygon.

As I was interested in the P2E at the time I found it very intriguing and way more interesting than the rest of the games on the market. There were quizzes on multiple topics all around the clock and in a way it felt like the crypto version of "who wants to be a millionaire".

The prizes were also pretty satisfying at around 100$ per quiz, excluding the fact that they were shared among all the winners(depending on the quiz there were usually between 2 and 10 winners).

In order to enter different quizzes you had to pay an entrance fee(about 1$), a part of which was added to the reward pool. This mechanism actually seemed very sustainable to me.

There were also plans for future expansion by the creators that focused on the surveying branch and so on.

Then the bear market hit and one day in June last year the rug got pulled. The app stopped functioning, the social media went silent and now all that remains is a twitter account without any activity and a reddit with an occassional post by a bot or someone who got burned.

In reality I didnt lose anything, because I didnt buy any native tokens(I even managed to cash out about 40$ while playing) but I am still sad that the only functional P2E game I found is not here anymore.
