Help with Matic in Cake Wallet

Hi all - I’m no expert but equally not inexperienced with crypto. Sent Matic to Cake Wallet from Ledger yesterday - zero in account balance showing..

Checking Etherscan, sitting on Ethereum not Polygon chain (no idea why, my fault? Schoolboy error?) I’ve been pulling my hair out with Polygon Bridge - sees the Matic in Cake when connects to wallet but I don’t have enough gas on Polygon Bridge - Refuel Gas option doesn’t seem to work despite sending some ETH to cake - how do I get/send/swap some gas fees to Polygon Bridge to move Matic off Cake?? Any help gratefully received…

PS - I’ve re synced (lots), deleted wallet and restored seed etc, tried connecting MetaMask to bridge to see if I could move some ETH, again can’t seem to find a way to send ETH to bridge

PPS - Any useful advice on main chat please, gonna ignore all Scammy DM’s - 6 already…
