How I purchased one full coin within 6 months while on minimum wage.

My day job is barely enough for life essentials. Being a gamer and knowing how lucrative the gaming industry is, I decided to research this medium for any business opportunities.

I simply googled "best-selling gaming console" and the most recent best-selling one was the Nintendo Switch. I've never had one before.

I started looking into it and found out that there was a method that had been discovered to jailbreak any model of that device with a $3 RP2040 chip, but it required knowledge in micro-soldering. I've never touched a soldering iron before and thought to myself, this might just be an interesting new learning curve for me. I bought a second-hand soldering station with some flux and iron.

I started my journey into learning how to solder with a bigger goal of turning this skill into a modding service for Nintendo Switches.

Started practicing on old boards, bought a couple of switches for cheap, and ruined them both, but Kept learning and practicing for about 2 months straight until I felt confident enough to start this endeavor. This was around March 2023. The timing was perfect as a new method to jailbreak any Switch had just been released.

I launched a submit page and posted on FB marketplace, and almost instantly orders started coming in. The first few orders were tough but gradually I learned how to manage my time between modding devices, picking and delivering orders, and providing customer support.

It was a lot of fun and for the next 6 months, I've made shy of $30,000.

Now with the new MIG Switch coming out in a few weeks, this business model died out, I got out after making max profit, and I threw it all on Bitcoin.

2023 was mostly spent on this mini venture. I loved it, and looking forward to trying out new things in 2024. Investing in myself was a VERY great idea.
