I have kept about 5 ETH sitting across a few exchanges and was planning on transferring everything to my hardware wallet. I don't follow Crypto as much nowadays, but I understand that the so called merge is taking place later this month, and that some initial updates have already taken place.
In a nutshell, am I okay to move all my ETH of these exchanges back to my hardware wallet - most likely today?
