I invested with my girlfriends money and it worked

She gave me 2k $ because she had to close that specific foreign currency bank account she used to keep them safe. And had nowhere to transfer them and didn't want to hold cash.

Of course I asked her before but I promised to give her the full sum back, at anytime she desired, if shit goes sideways.

And then we agreed to split profit 50% 40% (10 for taxes). Eventually we agreed on using the 428$ I made on a vacation.

This only worked because I would've been perfectly happy just holding this investment with my own money anyway.

The think is that I would've been way happier using those money for more joint investments...but she kept insisting that it's her profits and should make the decision. I would've been happier if both used our half of the profits in our own way....but I guess a vacation still works

Edit 1: she had 0 rysk involved and would've only participated in the gains. I feel like 50 %(her) - 40% (me) of gains it's a great deal. Since any fund will never guarantee any gains. And would never cover loses ever. But would still take comision. So on top of potential loss you know ur FA made money either way. I took a huge comision because I guaranteed that she wouldn't have lost any money.

Edit 2: she doesn't want to know anything about crypto or investments in general. So she avoids all stress and taxes headache also.

Edit 3: I have enough saved, to cover the 2k if she wanted the money ASAP . Would've sucked but still had enoguh.

Edit 4: To whoever says to " Give her 100% of profits" let me ask you this. I am supposed to take the stress and pay taxes myself out of pocket. And then if shit went down pay for the loss out of pocket.
