I reported crypto scammers to Reddit Admins and I got banned

When I see any kind of scam I go out of my way to report it to mods and report the user to the admins. Usually Mods will remove the content fairly quickly but the users who post it rarely get banned. When a scammer tries to chat with me I'll be nice until they give me their phishing URL that I will promptly report to the provider and 9/10 that will get it shutdown. I will also report to the Reddit admins. I always receive a response telling me that the scammers have not broken Reddit's Content policy. Sometimes I get an immediate response that there have been multiple reports and Reddit has already determined that no policy was broken. Here's the kicker... AND THEN FOR SOME REASON I'M THE ONE WHO GETS BANNED. This has happened twice now. The last time every account in any way associated to me also got permanently banned including two accounts owned by the company I work for.

But anyway... I'm going to stop reporting these scams (or anything else) now because its clear the admins that deal with this have no idea what they are looking at and are trigger happy aimed at the wrong person.

EDIT: I need to be clear here. I was not banned by any moderator from any subreddit. I was banned by Reddit employee (likely contractor) admins from Reddit entirely. These are two totally different things. Stuff I report to the subreddit moderators ARE dealt with. I give most crypto subreddit moderators a lot of credit for swiftly dealing with scams. Scammers I report to Reddit with clear evidence are ignored. My problem is with a very broken Reddit internal system. I doubt there's any malice, just very bad training. These people have no idea what they are looking at and it looks to them like i'm being a harassing bully to the poor scammers.

That's another problem. These scammers control many many accounts and will upvote all their scams and downvote anything like this. I've reported that too and nothing....
