Immutable (IMX) future of gaming or just a dead end?

I were extremely hopefull and exciting towards Immutable and their vision of making, gaming items and content owned and tradeable for endusers. But is it just me or, have they missed their momentum? Maybe I just read to much into the Game Stop cooperation and Gods unchained.

Personally I was deaply engaged and tried out Gods unchained, when the game became more mainstream, but now I just play it rarely. I haven't really checked out the games etc. that uses the marketplace, which means I'm not that up to date on the development of the platform. In the end I'm a bit dissatisfied that it didn't catch on like many other projects and really lived up the prospected potential.

What are your thoughts on Immutable? Is it possible for the IMX token to recover and will the marketplaces on Immutable network survive and prevail?
