Just one thing I cannot understand about the Sam Bankman Fried / FTX debacle

Why why why resort to fraud???

He had it made. FTX was one of the biggest crypto exchanges in the world.

The profit from the trading fees alone must have been insane. More than an average person like me will ever see in his lifetime...

It's not just him either. It was everyone in his inner circle. From his Dobby girlfriend to his ethics lawyer (lol) Stanford professor parents to his silent coding minion. All of them were set for life.

So...why? Why commit fraud? On such a mind bogglingly insane scale?

What did he even do with 8Billion$? Where do you even spend that enormous pile of dragon treasure?

It's like if fate gave SBF a choice. Would you like to become a Billionaire or a criminal? And SBF said he would rather pick prison.

He had it made.
