I recently set up SatsSpend (https://satsspend.com), which is the Australian bitcoin business list. It includes a searchable text table and an interactive map of all businesses in Australia which accept bitcoin, as well as some helpful resources at the bottom of the page for both spenders and receivers of bitcoin.
Since setting it up, there's been a couple of other locations (Netherlands and Nashville) who have been keen to fork the website template (or just the interactive map part) to develop a business list for their own area.

Credit and disclaimers: SatsSpend is a community project, consisting of just a couple of people so far (the Github page is linked from the website). The domain and hosting is paid for by HardBlock (which is Australia's oldest bitcoin-only exchange).
