 | Yeah, I know, investing in BTC/ETH only is the safe way in crypto. But what if you want to dip your toes into alts like I do? Now that prices are still really low & we are slowly preparing for the bull market, you never know which diamond can make you huge gains. So here is a little advice, a little trick I know: One of the smartest things you could do when evaluating a altcoin investment is to review the change in token supply with time and one of the easiest ways to do that is to head over to messari.io . Once on the website, type the name of the altcoin that you would like to review. For example, I chose a coin named KAVA because I _already_ know that the tokenomics on this one are.... pretty bad to say the least. Search the coin you want & then click on it. Then, look for the little blue icon in the down right corner of your screen and click on it, it will bring up another list of options: It will bring this up, click on charts and then on supply. The next screen is gonna show you exactly how the supply of a coin has changed overtime. You can see exactly how much it has changed, how quickly and therefore begin to understand if the price of that coin has a _chance_ to get back to all time high levels. In the example here we can see that in comparison to 2021 peak, there are now more than 4x more KAVA in circulation, which means there needs to be a HUGE amount of exit liquidity pumped into the coin for it just to get back to its ATH. Which is HIGHLY unlikely. This is just a little trick I know & use to have a better understanding of a coin before I put my money in it.
