Living on a Bitcoin Standard in 2023

Been thinking about this for a bit now. How challenging would it be to FULLY live on a Bitcoin standard today? I know there are people that do it already, but I struggle with how most of us could do it in countries where it's not widely accepted for payment (for now).

Perhaps the thing holding me back most is tax implications. Needing to track all txs one makes for a year's worth of living seems daunting. Maybe sticking to something like Strike helps with this, since they send you a neat tax doc for your cap gains on txs in and out. For day to day purchases, would you just buy gift cards all the time? I've tired that out a bit recently...

Then for bills, would you just keep enough fiat in a Fold account? I think bitrefill has a service for bill paying (could be totally wrong, haven't looked into it much yet)...

What do you think? What's holding you back from going all in? Or are you already? If so, how's it working?
