Lately I’ve noticed many people posting about cars and how they can be used for mining and how it’s going to change the market. Let me be the first to explain why that is stupid and unrealistic.
First of all, a car can’t even hold a pick axe. You need opposable thumbs in order to grip it firmly. Secondly, how does a car even fit in a mine? All the mines I’ve seen are very cramped and damp. Maybe a smaller car like a BMW Isetta or a Fiat 500 (the rucksack) might be able to fit in a cave, but then again, they DON’T have opposable thumbs. Overall, the idea is stupid and unrealistic.
