Recently my husband passed away unexpectedly, I know nothing about cyrpto he had a wallet with a large amount in it. He had an account in our sons name, is it possible to get access to those funds to put into a trust fund for our son? My husband was main account holder of the wallet, he sent me a screenshot with his wallet and our sons account. I don’t want to get into too much detail, I just want to know if I can get access to those funds and put them into a trust fund account for our son. I know he’d want that for our son, we where separated but still legally married. He has parents who are trying to act as next of kin, but legally I next of kin I just didn’t want to upset an already horrible situation. When he was found his phone was missing same with his actual physical wallet. Police are trying to say it wasn’t suspicious, without saying too much it was very very suspicious. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated and also I’m in Vancouver BC so any local lawyers office numbers would be great if this is even possible.
