So I'm 34 years old with no career path, but I have a good $130,000 in savings. I have $5,000 diversified in the stock market with Fidelity, and $112,000 in the money market which gives me a decent dividend monthly. I also have a decent amount just sitting in my regular checking account. I just opened my crypto account on Fidelity and am tempted to buy some bitcoin. What would be a good starting point, like $100, $500, or $1,000? That kind of money won't break me and from what I'm reading the potential earnings could be substantial. I really don't know much about crypto at all, but considering I don't have a good career path to fall back on at this moment, I figured I better find ways to make money from the money I currently have. Any input, suggestions, or opinions are welcomed! I'm just trying to learn from people who know more about this investing world than I do.
