I am trying to transfer money to a relative in the Middle East, but he says he can only receive it through the TRC20 network. I have never used Bitcoin, crypto, or anything like that before, so I am pretty confused about how this works.
From what I understand, TRC20 is related to Tron, but I do not know if that means I need to buy Tron itself or if I can send something like USDT using the TRC20 network. I am in the U.S., if that makes any difference.
I installed the Kast app because it was recommended to me, but I do not see any option for the Tron or TRC20 network in the app. Am I using the wrong app, or am I missing something?
Can someone explain in simple terms what I actually need to do, what app or exchange I should use, and how to avoid sending the money the wrong way and losing it?
