Now receiving DMs claiming to be Coinbase....Gala V1 issue

I had previously posted about my Gala V1 tokens being useless because Coinbase has not decided to support V2 and I was unable to move my tokens in time.

I am now receiving messages from new accounts claiming to be Coinbase. I am not dumb enough to fall for it but....

I am also getting messages saying I can use Dapps to fix the issue and was sent this link

I just wonder why Gala themselves didn't mention this "solution" if it is real.

Any help would be appreciated. I am still learning and far from being a pro.
