Opinion: Moons bring out the best and the worst of this community

I think that moons have a lot of positives in general, and I personally really like them. However, I have come to notice that they tend to bring out the best and the worse of this community

On one side, you have the people who help. Those who explain concepts, help newbies, upvote quality content and tip the occasional moon. Those who have moons as a nice benefit, but not their sole existence on this sub

On the other hand, you have those who were corrupted by the financial potential of moons. Those that downvote everything just to have a slightly higher karma ratio for themselves. Those who post the same stuff over and over again in hopes of getting a few extra moons.

All in all I really like moons, but it really shows how different we are, and how money can really bring out the worse in people sometimes
