For a long time, I've perceived Bitcoin as an alternative to fiat money and had doubts about that due to its deflation mechanism. Deflation is not good for the economy - if you don't spend money today, as tomorrow the product will be cheaper, consumption and manufacturing will stop.
But once I started to perceive Bitcoin as a 'gold', it started suddenly to make sense as it has all its most important advantages: it is limited (21m), it is durable (not 'spoils' with time), it is a liquid asset (can be easily swapped for any currency / another asset).
Will be happy to hear your arguments for or against this
