From about 2012-2014 I was hyper-interested in tech and as part of it became involved in crypto and mining. I recently discovered a private key I forgot I had for a Schildbach android wallet… but I no longer remember the password to that wallet.
I tried brute forcing the password for a few hours—to no avail—in the current Schildbach app via an Android Studio virtual device since I switched to Apple products in the intervening decade.
From my very limited understanding (there’s a reason I dropped tech and went into the arts lmao) I should be able to access it from another wallet based on Bitcoinj with only my private key?
I’d be really grateful for any tips or advice, even if it was only 0.02 BTC then it would be nice to have now!
