I had my only wallet hacked using the 12 word seed in the past. I had the 12 words in a text file on my PC and cloud storage. Now I have Bitcoin stored partially online and also on a Trezor wallet. I hand wrote the 12 and 24 word seed this time, but my concern is with long term storage . A lot can happen in a few years. Flood, fires, domestic issues. Paper is fragile.
Is there any way to keep the seed words online without a potential hack? I was thinking about scanning as a JPG and then encrypting the file before uploading it.
Or should I just keep it offline, hidden behind a picture frame?
