The greatness of an invention is settled when it becomes independent from its creator

All great inventions are defined as great when everybody has forgotten who invented them in the first place. So much, so that the invention itself doesn't anymore need its creator, but it is able to sustain itself across mankind. So we can isolate it and it will be as important as it is even without its creator.

I bet Satoshi knew this, and recognized that its creation was going to grow and establish better if people had focused on it more than himself.

The anonymity of Satoshi is a great sacrifice and a great gift. And in the end, it was inevitable.
