Top 15 coins 4 years ago

I love to look back at what the cryptospace looked like years ago. Some people like to bash BTC and ETH, because coins like Luna, Solana, Avax have outperformed, but let's take a look at the top 15, 4 years ago on this exact date:

1. Bitcoin (16000$) <- New all time high
2. Ethereum (800$) <-New all time high
3. Bitcoin Cash (3000$) <-Down bad
4. XRP (1$) <-Actual stablecoin
5. Litecoin (300$) <-Down
6. IOTA (4$) <-Down bad
7. Cardano (0.40$) <-New all time high, not a stablecoin
8. Dash (1200$) <-Down bad
9. NEM (1$) <-Down bad
10. Monero (400$) <-Down
11. EOS (10$) <-Down bad
12. Bitcoin Gold (300$) <-Down bad
13. NEO (70$) <- Down bad
14. Qtum (55$) <-Down bad
15. Stellar (0.55$) <-Down

Most of these coins you may recognize, and some are gone. But what's interesting is that: Monero, EOS, XRP, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, IOTA, Dash, ALL had a higher price/same price back then than they have now.

Only BTC, Ethereum and Cardano are now above their 2017 price from 4 years ago, but the others are not. If you don't want to sell during this bull run, you need to have most of your money in BTC and ETH.

And there are some coins that were in the top 100 back then and that have outperformed BTC and ETH. These coins are: Dogecoin, Binance coin and Decentraland.

Almost all other coins you wouldn't even recognise or have underperformed BTC and ETH. I don't know about you, but I am buying BTC and ETH.
