Transfered ETH from Binance to Bitvavo exchange with wrong network

I deposited about 0.063 ETH to the Bitvavo wallet [exchange] about an hour ago. I didn't understand that the network had to be ETH and used zkSync Era because it was the cheapest. The ETH was never added to my balance and when I messaged Bitvavo I was told there was nothing they could do.

The Binance support said they would be happy to help me if Bitvavo returns the transaction. The chat conversation with Bitvavo went as follows.

Does anyone have any advice on what I can do now? Or is it really a lost cause...
