so im at a company convention out of town and the subject of retirement and the future came up, and so did bitcoin. She got rather excited when she found out I knew about it and even asked “omg, do you have bitcoin?” (i then told her that in general, you dont talk about that), but she then told me she wanted to get involved but “i dont have enough money to buy a share of it!”
i took out my phone and opened coinbase, and showed her its possible to buy $5 in bitcoin, or even 5 cents because its infinitely divisible.
her husband knew she was interested but was rather dismissive of crypto. anyways, she asked me if i could send her a referral link for that and she’d be happy to do it through me so I get a little $20 bonus, we’ll see.
im just happy I was able to provide someone with. very elementary bit of knowledge of this asset.
