What are ways I can fix a confirmed dropped and replaced transaction that still shows as pending?

The first transaction had too low of a gas fee so I replaced it by sending myself eth, on etherscan the original transaction is still pending while the replacement has been confirmed. When I sent a transaction with the next consecutive nonce it is still pending according to etherscan because the previous transaction (the one I already replaced) is still pending. It seems like the rpc provider doesn't have the correct history in its logs.
