What is the point of DeFi Staking on Binance?

Right me if I'm flawed, however as I understand it, there are two most important ways to stake:

• centralized: utilizing a custodial trade. The interests are often larger but... not your keys not your crypto.
• decentralized: utilizing a non-custodial wallet. The pursuits are often decrease but you retain your cryptos.

So, what's the level of subscribing to a DeFi staking from the Binance change? It looks like the worst of each worlds: low curiosity and custodial.
