When’s the last time you’ve onboarded an average Web2 consumer to the ETH blockchain?

This is a serious question that I hope isn’t met with blind hate.

How often are we able to onboard new users given the state of the chain?

What are some people experience when trying to onboard someone? Why do they usually respond with?

These are things we should be paying attention to as a community instead of dismissing it.

The excuse of “it’s a feature not a bug” when it comes to slow transaction time and high gas fees it starting to get tired. Clearly if the goal is mass adoption, the current pathway ETH is following doesn’t leave me very hopeful for the future of the chain.

Statistically more users are leaving ETH for alternate L1s than there are new users coming to ETH.

Do we not see that as a problem?
