So I’d class myself as somewhere moderately knowledgeable at trading but still have a lot to learn. (Scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a complete noob, 10 being someone who does it for a living, I’d class myself as a 4/5).

I know the basics and what used to always get me rekt was the lack of patience; getting impatient and feeling “there has to be a good opportunity NOW”. Iv worked on that over the last few months and the results are positive. My profit chart is somewhat like a stairs (horizontal line while waiting, step up when i find an opportunity, horizontal line while I wait again…etc). Sometimes it can be up to a week without opening a trade (currently on day 4 with my previous being X5 leverage so my next will be X4)

The part now that I stumble with: As your profits grow, what do you do? Do you just take the profit in cash / reinvest it and start fresh with $100 and repeat. Do you keep the same strategy and just reduce leverage every time so your trades just stay the same price with lower risk? Keep the money aside and keep your trades the same size but add the profits as collateral if it’s not going your way? Take bigger risks now that you can afford the loss?

What do you guys do and how did you learn?

Ps: not looking for the “just dca and hodl” comments… I already do that for the last few years.
