Where is blockchain data stored in proof of stake?

Hi everyone, newbie question. I know that for proof of work, the data is stored in nodes across the network. With proof of stake, staking money is all that is required, and not computational power (correct me if I am wrong), so where is blockchain data stored in proof of stake? Thanks for the help everyone!

edit #1: accidentally wrote proof of stake instead of proof of work for the beginning of the second sentence
