Which crypto should we accept for our locksmith business?

We started accepting Bitcoin and a few other crypto currencies for our first locksmith business back in 2014, take a look at our initial blog post from 2014. We followed up four years later with this post explaining our experience and journey so far.

Now, we’re nearly another four years on from that and we’ve started up our new locksmith business Locksmith Direct to serve the entirety of the UK. We’d like to give our knowledge of crypto currencies a refresh and be ready to accept as many crypto currencies as possible during the upcoming bull run. We are also going to put more time into actively advertising the fact that we are a crypto friendly business.

When we last researched 4 years ago, the cryptos recommended to us were:

Bitcoin

Bitcoin Cash

Dash

Monero

Nano

It seems like nowadays there are so many more options than before. There’s also new tech and terminology such as defi, NFTs and web 3.0.

How do we go about finding which cryptos/tokens are worthwhile for taking payments?

What crypto currency(s) would you recommend we look into accepting for our business?
