Giving Back To Mom

I’ll be completely honest. I am in my (early?) 30’s. I haven’t always been doing well, or even decent. Well, I guess that’s always subjective. My bad could be someone else’s good? Vice versa? I donno. Money is funny.™️

Couch surfing. Beach bum. I’ve made federal minimum wage as well as held a 100K job that consisted of sales/management/business development. Been arrested (just tried to count and don’t know if it’s 3 or 5) accused of things that aren’t true at all, and never called out for things that are 100% true. That’s just the way of the road there Bubs. Disclaimer: Do not eat unidentified fungi and try to participate normally ????

I’ve made decisions that have alienated myself from my family that is half a world away and have made great friendships and ruined most of those as well. I live alone and am literally a fry cook at a family restaurant. They pay great for getting a meal per shift and such. Around the corner from my house..it’s my second home away from my “crazy box” studio apartment.

I’m broke. I have a little crypto and I have a job and apartment and no vehicle.

What I do share with the vast majority of us in here is that we have hope. We’re hopeful that our endeavors will put us, even if it’s just a fucking little, put us slightly ahead in life.

Today, I am grateful. I am grateful for the tiny slice of life I can give my mom.

Be grateful for the small and massive sunsets and sunrises that have been given to us. If you have someone else or just have yourself, the sun is shining.
