I just realized my Gala is worthless.

Don't yell at me. I was going through a depressive and stressful period and stopped paying attention to crypto so closely. I somehow missed the announcements about Coinbase not supporting the Gala V2 drop.

I contacted Gala Games and they said

Thank you for contacting the Gala Games support team.

We have already replaced all of the $GALA v1 that was on the Ethereum blockchain at the time of the snapshot on May 15th, this token is no longer supported and has no utility. The contract replacement was 1-1 there was no wallet left out of the snapshot including any custodial wallets. There is no way to trade or replace $GALA v1 with v2 as it has all already been replaced and the contract replacement is complete.

Coinbase received the upgrade on May 16th, here is the Txn Hash of one of their custodial wallets receiving the contract replacement:

We encourage users to reach out to Coinbase regarding their situation and are hopeful that they may come around later and support the upgrade and issue users their deserved $GALA v2 tokens. Unfortunately, there is nothing Gala Games can do as Coinbase holds the $GALA v2 associated with the wallets they had holding $GALA v1 at the time of the snapshot.
